Just Mercy

For this week’s What We’re Watching Wednesday we are recommending the movie Just Mercy⚖️

Based on a powerful true story, it stars Michael B. Jordan as Bryan Stevenson, a lawyer fighting for wrongly condemned death row inmates. Jamie Foxx portrays Walter McMillian, a man wrongly condemned to death row. Together, they battle against racism embedded in the justice system. The movie was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and was written by both him and Bryan Stevenson himself, who wrote the book that inspired the movie.

We love seeing representation in Hollywood, particularly for positive impact and #purposedriven stories that make a difference in the world.
